This is the reworked proof mentioned in the catalogue raisonné by Gustav Schiefler. According to him it is the only reworked print of the two proofs of the second state.

Provenance:
Collection Dr. Heinrich Stinnes (1867–1932), Cologne
August Klipstein (1885–1951), Berne, with the stamp on the reverse (Lugt 2373a). Klipstein acquired the Liebermann prints from the Stinnes Collection en bloc at the beginning of World War II. In order to sell the prints individually, they were stamped with ‘ST-K’
(= Stinnes-Klipstein)
