Ommaya-gashi (Oammaya river bank), sheet 105 from the "Meisho Edo hyakkei" series (Hundred Views of Edo), nishiki-e, signed: Hiroshige ga, censor seal: aratame, dated 1857 (snake 12), publisher’s seal: Shitaya Uo (ya), Ei (kichi): the last three indications are missing from this sheet because it is trimmed on three sides, the wood grain is still visible in the centre of the image, black lacquer is visible in the sky at the top, this is a later print since the colours are slightly paler and the lines are broader, yellowed, stained, album holes to the right margin outside the image area, partly rubbed, 33.2 x 23.3 cm, framed, (CT)
