Weights and Measures Office standards from 1756, copper, 1/64 Viennese ‘Metzen’, 1/32, 1/16 and 1/8 Viennese ‘Metzen’ (1/64 W: M, 1/32 W: M, 1/16 W: M,1/8 W: M), each calibrated with the Austrian double eagle and the year(1)787 and (1)818. Height and diameter c. 10/14.3 cm, 12.2/18.1 cm, 15.5/22.5 cm and 22.2 x 26 cm.
Provenance:
Collection of Dr. Gerhard Eiselmayr No. 868, acquired in the Viennese antique market in 2004.
