The present painting shows similarities with the artistic production from the Northern Lazio region, particularly with the works of the painter Antonio del Massaro, called Pastura (circa 1450–1516). The anonymous painter of this panel must have also been aware of the production of artists of the Umbrian School and with the works of Gerino d’Antonio Gerini, called Gerino da Pistoia (1480–1529).
