Unrestored Beetle with original 52,500 km!

As of August 1972, the Beetle was released as the 1303 in Wolfsburg. A curved front windshield created a panoramic view in the now airy interior, a "real" dashboard deemed the old Beetle times obsolete, and a newly formed giant trunk was begging for holiday travel. As an "S" with 50 hp, the highway limit was almost achieved! This last stage of the Beetle was built as a sedan until 1975.

This 1303 S was registered on February 14, 1973 by its first owner in Vienna. She kept her Beetle for 20 years before passing it into the hands of a VW enthusiast. He carefully kept it in the garage for many years and hardly used it. It then landed in the hands of another Beetle enthusiast in 2014, still unwelded and to a large extent still wearing its first coat of paint. On account of the extended length of time it remained standing, the technology needed to be updated. The consignor acquired the Beetle a year ago at our auction, but time travelling back to an impeccable interior should not take much longer, because the garage has been terminated as of this spring. Thus followed the difficult decision to part once again with this gem. The 1303 offers the perfect mix of an excellent state of preservation thanks to years of dry storage and exceptional originality due to its low mileage. Coupled with its typical 70s color selection and the best in car ownership care, it can only be reiterated: It doesn’t get any better than this!
