Handachi longsword
Japan, early 17th century. Blade in shirasaya, shinogizukuri, lorimune, Kogissaki, Hamon: suguha notare, Hada: itame, Nagako with a Mekugiana. Signature: Echizen Ju Hitachi Daijo Fujiwara Narisada. The handachi mounts with leather sheath and unified brass mounts, leather strap with Tokugawa coat-of-arms, blade polish in very good condition, Nagasa: 64 cm, total height: 106.4 cm. (BA)
