A miner crucifix, - Starožitnosti +Historické vědecké přístroje a globusy

early nineteenth century, Christ, three-nail type, flanked by two miners in traditional uniform with guild sign, the cross is placed on a grotto base with a figure of sorrowful Mary inside the grotto, above that two small angels with crown, underneath two miners at prayer, wood, painted in colour, partly glitter, total height 113 cm, age-related damage, one angel wing missing, beautiful and rare piece, (Ki)

The red uniform trousers were worn in the Eastern Harzvorland area under the sovereignty of Count Mansfeld, where many mines were located, as well as in the Sudentenland.
