Design and produced by the Viennese company Portois und Fix, circa 1900/10, the locks and key embossed with the company mark. Made in various hardwoods and softwoods with mahogany veneer and polished finish and marquetry ornament in various fine woods. A freestanding desk with brass mounts, 9 drawers, the top with a restored lining. Ca.78 x 150.5 x 75.5 cm. In cared-for overall condition with a fine patina.
