A table mod. Old Sisi, designed and manufactured by Guido Wachernig
in 2012, construction with rectangular HPL compact plate, 34 mm diameter tubular steel base, ripple finish. The table frame consists of 16 pipe bends with 28 manually revised weld seams. Height c. 75 cm, length c. 200 cm, depth c. 90 cm. (MHA)
The ripple finish must be regarded as a tribute to the 1950s, just like the three-dimensional “twisting” of the legs, as a result of which the table displays a different design according to the angle from which it is viewed.
The present piece is item no. 1 from a small handcrafted series.
