Vienna, 1914, for Jacob & Josef Kohn, Vienna, black stained beech, height approx. 93 cm, width approx. 47 cm, depth approx. 45 cm, height of seat approx. 47 cm. (MHA)
Square-section front legs and circular-section rear legs are combined in this chair, which was shown at the 1914 Werkbund Exhibition in Cologne and in 1916 was used for the Wiener Werkstätte’s Fashion Department at No. 41 Kärntnerstraße, Vienna, as well as the sales agency of the Poldi Hütte steel manufacturer.
