bronze, bronze-colour and partly cold patinated in red and green tones; figure mounted on a stepped onyx base; the front of the base with a patinated bronze plaque with an Egyptian woman playing a lyre; inscribed D. H. Chiparus on the plaque at bottom right and on the back of the base; the side of the base also with foundry signet Etling Paris; signs of age; base slightly chipped; total height: 73.3 cm. (MP)
