From the Artist Antoine Jean Louis Chantal Not many works Antoine by Jean Louis Chantal are known. However, it is known that he made copies of Netherlandish 17th century art, including history paintings and portraits. Before 1813 he moved to Amsterdam and from 1818 to 1836 he exhibited drawings in shows there. His sons J. A. L and J. F. P. Chantal also became painters.
