Mixed lot (2 pieces), Afghanistan, Pakistan, India: a so-called ‘Khyber knife’ and a double-edged dagger from India.
1: A ‘Khyber knife’, a type of large knife from the borderlands between Afghanistan and Pakistan. With a single-edged, locally forged blade with a broad back and a dark brown hilt made of wood. Length: 40 cm.
2: A small double-edged dagger, probably from India, with an old honey-coloured patinated ivory hilt. Length: 21 cm.
Both objects: First third of the 20th century. (ME) ASA
