Future classic with only 52.121 km!

In 1989, Mercedes-Benz decided to replace the R 107 after 18 long years. The new model had to meet very high standards: the result was a quantum leap in design, technology, convenience, and available space. Internally referred to as the R 129, this SL once more turned into a top seller and was part of the programme until 2001.

The present SL 500 was originally delivered to Japan, well equipped with lather, air condition, Xenon, power seats, sound system, and both tops. In addition, it came with 19“ AMG wheels. A mere 52,121 km are noticeable only for the lack of traces they left on this Mercedes, that like all of its kind is made of sterner stuff. The present SL 500 is a fine example of the R 129, already with facelift and modified 5-gear automatic transmission, striking appearance in exceedingly well-maintained condition in a colour scheme that never fails to appeal. Potentially a source of lasting enjoyment and definitely a youngtimer for the future!
