porcelain, cover and body with wide gilt edges, border with gold tips, on both sides reserves with polychrome painted chinoiserie motifs, outlined by gilt lace border and copper lustre and iron-red leafy tendrils, interspersed with flying insects and painted Indian floral motifs, also on handle and cover, height 20.5 cm, finial with old restoration, short and thin firing crack to the spout, the latter with restored tip, interior to rim of cover very slightly chipped
