- this Caminargent bicycle was created in the 1930s
- a successful try to replace steel with aluminium parts
- its octagonal aluminium tubes are joined by finely detailed and elaborately cutout lugs
- despite the addition of screws to strengthen the joins, the aluminium frame still twists
- surviving Caminargent bikes such as this should be ridden gently
