Payment

The items bought by you can be paid for while the sale is still in progress, or also on the following days, during office hours. An invoice will be sent to you after the sale, to the address you have indicated. We gladly accept cash, money transfers, or Maestro bank cards. (Please note that we do not accept credit cards or checks.)

Property collection and shipping information

On receipt of payment the goods for which you have successfully bid are available for immediate collection.

Upon request, we are happy to send your item to you once we have received payment. We can advise you on the best type of shipping to use and organise delivery by post or courier on your behalf. We will also be glad to assist you with coordinating the shipping of your items by an external shipping agent. Please try to collect your purchases as quickly as possible, or have someone else collect them for you: after one month we will place furniture and paintings into storage, and charge a fee for this.

Please note that due to the Austrian Trade Act, the shipment of weapons to end customers is not possible. For Austrian customers, we can arrange to send firearms either to an Austrian firearms dealer (upon prior presentation of the dealer's written consent to take over the item in question) or to a Dorotheum branch near you. Please note that shipping to a third country and some EU countries such as Poland and Bulgaria may result in considerable additional costs. Therefore, we recommend customers to inform themselves about the resulting costs before bidding.
