Im Saal der alten Meister (Kunsthistorisches Museum): lauter Schreibende statt Schauende.
Die Kunst ist ein Schreibobjekt geworden.
„A picture came into being” is the correct expression. It came into being, as it were, without effort. In fact I never work, I wouldn’t presume to apply this expression to myself.
In the Old Masters Gallery (Kunsthistorisches Museum): full of people writing instead of looking. Art has become an object of writing.
