An Auersperg chair, designed by Oswald Haerdtl, - Design

1952/53, for the refurbished Auersperg Palace in Vienna, manufactured by Thonet, Austria, beech stained to simulate walnut, “W”-shaped brass backrest, plywood seat, height 86 cm, width 44 cm, depth 48 cm, height of seat 44 cm. (DRAX)

Some 40 pieces of this version were produced. A model differing in certain details was used for the Café Prückel in Vienna.
