West Turkestan, c. 166 x 122 cm, 19th century, four fields separated by a cross-beam with diagonally arranged pek vesh motif, varying white-ground border decoration with external syrga stripes, the “double-headed” motifs of the inner borders are as yet largely unexplored, dark brown elem end with so-called gapyrga trees, velvety pile wool, lower end still with kilim remains, side edges rebound, low pile in the upper two thirds.
