R." with crown and dated "June 1877", also bearing the engraved monogram "HA" with crown of nobility, height: 21,5 cm, weight: 1172 g, maker’s mark LP = Lewis Paulin I., London hallmark 1740/41, (Lu)

A pair of candleholders of excellent workmanship from London. The candleholders were a personal present from Queen Victoria to the famous Austrian painter Heinrich von Angeli.
