Mixed lot (2 items): Cambodia: two textiles (wrap-over skirts) made of silk, dyed with the ikat technique. - Tribal Art

1: A sarong-like wrap-over skirt made of silk, dyed using the ikat technique (resist dying technique), with detailed rhombus patterns consisting of three muted red tones. With dark, violet borders on both long sides. Dimensions: 150 cm x 88 cm.
2: A sarong-like wrap-over skirt made of silk, dyed using the ikat technique, with a detailed pattern of rhombuses and crosses, in several red tones and with small, blue-green dots within the rhombuses. Narrow, bordeaux red borders on the long sides, a broad border on one short side with three soft, multi-coloured stripes. Dimensions: 146 cm x 93 cm.
Both objects: First half of the 20th century. (ME)
