Aquamare Ando/venini 2011, acid etched factory mark: 90/Venini/2011/Ando, and factory label: VENINI, height 56.5 cm. (DRAX)

Prototype for the limited edition of 30. Made on the occasion of Venini’s 90th anniversary.

With a certificate issued by Venini and signed by Tadao Ando and Giancarlo Chimento.

The art of the Japanese architect Tadao Ando is characterised by its consistent minimalism. Similar to his buildings, he also concentrates on simple geometric forms in his vase objects, combining them with the aestheticism of subtle surface accentuations.
