Central France, c. 660 x 550 cm, about 1830, monumental ‘en camaïeu’ tapestry from the reign of Charles X with floral central motif and swan pattern, the carpet was hung for decades and is, as a result, in a premium state of preservation, entirely secured with linen fabric on the back. (MA)
