known as a “Schlangenluster”, attributed to the Danhauser furniture factory, circa 1810/15, gold painted, bowl-form chandelier with gesso (wood paste) snake decoration and suspended from chain, six lights, later fitted for electricity, height approx. 90 cm, diameter approx. 90 cm, heavy signs of aging, one branch broken, losses, restoration required.
