West Turkestan, c. 179 x 156 cm, last third of the 19th century, tent door carpet with violet brown background, the white parts of the pattern made of cotton, classic pattern with Sainak border, four pentagonal fields in the upper section, the two mihrabs in the central field are separated by a “gaz ayak panel", soft feel due to supreme wool quality, original woven finish at the upper end, lower end reduced, partially low pile, one repaired area to the outer right side.
