China, c. 118 x 66 cm (incl. frame c. 145 x 85 cm), first half of the 19th century, silk hanging in tapestry technique partly woven with gold and silver threads, the dragon represents "long", the all-powerful five-clawed dragon with the horns of a stag and the head of a camel, who lives in the sky surrounded by a flaming pearl, cloud bands and symbols of good fortune, the textile is in an exceptionally good state of preservation, mounted on red linen fabric and wooden frame.
