Marble top in Pietra Dura technique,
A modern copy modelled after a piece in Palazzo Pitti (Florence) which was made in 1821. Reddish marble with intarsia, with a central depiction of a musical instrument (lyre combined with mandolin?), as well as a torch, surrounded by trailing leaves and a moulded border. Ca. 90 x 181 cm.
