Imposing Historicist crown-shaped bronze chandelier,
France, 2nd half of the 19th century. A bronze chandelier with a total of 42 electric lights, with spherical and baluster forms, arranged on 2 tiers, with applied stars, 5 cast putti figures on the lower tier, each with a 6-light ring, the upper tier tapering over 6 pairs of lights, fully decorated with flowers and rocaille, also parcel gilt, and with 3 parrots atop, as well as garlands of fruit with ceiling rose. Height ca. 140 cm. Diameter ca. 120 cm. Without guarantee for electrical fitting , the electrical fitting requires checking. (DOC)
