Known as a "Frankfurter Hallenschrank", 1st quarter of the 18th century. A demountable hard and softwood cabinet with wedge joints and slot connection, with canted angles, a richly moulded and stepped cornice and plinth, veneered in burl walnut in the typical style of the region with round protrusions, 2 doors, and a two-bolt lock. Ca. 227 x 232 x 85 cm. The veneer brittle, various veneer losses, some ageing and wear. (DOC)
