1957/58, for Fritz Hansen, an early model with distinctive shaft and integrated seat cushion, x-shaped aluminium swivelling base, the polyester seat shell upholstered and covered with cognac coloured leather, height c. 105 cm, width c. 89 cm, depth c. 78 cm, height of seat c. 37 cm. (MHA)
The version without seat cushion was only produced until about 1968.
Designed for the SAS Royal Hotels in Copenhagen, which were built by Arne Jacobsen between 1956 and 1960.
