modified Régence period of the late 19th century, hardwood and softwood frame carved with ornamental and floral motifs, rocailles and female mascarons, on cabriole legs, with cross-shaped stretcher, the frieze with diverse carvings in the form of violins, tambourines and horns as allegories of music, with matching moulded marble top (Breche d’Alep) - the latter with restored crack, completely re-gilded in the course of a restoration, c. 80 x 173 x 102 cm, in restored condition.
