Vienna c. 1850, manufactured by Carl Leistler’s workshop (attributed), consisting of four chairs and a tabouret, beechwood frames carved with ornamental and floral motifs as well as rocailles, poliment gilt, lavishly carved with rocailles, garlands, blossoms and shells, legs terminating in volutes, dimensions of each chair 89.0 x 49.0 x 47.5 cm, dimensions of tabouret 47.0 x 49.5 x 49.5 cm, original upholstery with green silk cover and gold and silver threads, silver border, heavy signs of age and use, covers partly worn out, all seating objects with brand mark featuring interlocking ‘LL’, old inventory numbers.
