South Turkestan, c. 260 x 173 cm, end of the 19th century, rare central carpet with 3 x 8 chuval guls and accompanying “pudak” secondary motifs, borders with rolled-up serrate leaves, original kilim ends and side edges, although the present carpet was not intended for heavy use, its exceptionally good condition is highly remarkable.
