An elegant serpentine bureau in hardwood and softwood on cabriole legs, with mahogany veneer, marquetry lozenges in further fine woods with a perspectival effect, a writing surface with dyed wood floral marquetry, a fitted interior with 6 drawers, and with a push button mechanism allowing the central compartments to open revealing 6 secret drawers concealed behind. Ca. 118 x 185 x 86 cm. Veneer parts replaced and in fully restored condition. (DOC)
