so-called “en cabinet”, France, second half of the 19th century, diverse softwoods and hardwoods, tulipwood veneer, cross-grained cube and floral marquetry with diverse precious woods, the facing side with one drawer and fall-front, interior with four drawers and mirrored back wall, the top with brown leather covering with gilt decor, elaborate gilt bronze fittings, partly in the form of flower festoons and a figural medallion, the top with openwork edging, 136 x 58 x 35 cm, in beautiful professionally restored condition.
