elm, elm veneer, brown-stained; tapering sides; the upper section with two rounded handles; a continuous support in the lower section accentuates the construction; the lower section with five grooves on the side; partly chipped; signs of age and use; professionally restored; height 54.0 cm, width 52.0 cm, depth 44.0 cm. The theme was furnishing the living room of a married worker. The living room designed by Sigmund Jaray under the motto "Home" was awarded second prize. In the following year, the results of the competition were exhibited at the Museum of Art and Industry in Vienna and subsequently shown as a travelling exhibition in several cities.
