Photo album from the Empress’s estate from her trip to Tangier, Oran and Algiers in 1890. In addition to city and harbour views, 16 photos with individual portraits of folk types (men & women). The empress’s estate contained a total of 23 photo albums of her travels from the years 1890-1894. They were bequeathed to her daughter Archduchess Marie Valerie and were kept at Wallsee Castle. In 1982, the photo albums were sold at auction at Dorotheum. Thirteen of them are now in the possession of the Austrian National Library.
