In the form of an Ionian chapter, the “Capitello” pre-empted the postmodern in the 1980s. Although it has a hard appearance, in reality, the molded polyurethane foam makes the seat soft and comfortable to use. Other extreme designs from the progressive Gufram manufacturer originated from Piero Gilardi’s prototype.
