A splendid tiled stove, in the style used at court,
white glazed, and tiered sections, outlined by a gilt frame set with moulded shells, with bands and rocailles, leafy boughs, bead-and-rod moulding, acanthus festoons, leaf rosettes, palmette tied into acanthus leaves, palmette friezes, pilaster strips and volutes with similar gilt decoration, surmounted by an amphora with gilt fluting and egg-and-dart frieze, firing door at the pack, width: 125 cm, total height: 328 cm, socle and base height: 130 cm, the top height: 140 cm, top with vase height: 58 cm, expertly restored, the gilding reapplied with 23-carat sheet gold, the gilt décor recalls the representational suites as well as the Hofburg in Vienna, Austria ca. 1780–1790 (Ru)
