Wedding cabinet,
Probably South Germany, last third of the 18th century. A Swiss pine cabinet with a natural waxed finish, carved with ornament and on the upper door panels the motif of a wedding couple in a landscape. The cabinet has 2 doors, dated and inscribed on the frieze as part of a family inheritance "1827 F. N.", and with original lock and key. 174.5 x 144 x 62 cm. In fine, cared-for overall condition.
