Known as a “Spreisseltruhe”, Upper Austria, 2nd half of the 18th century. A spruce coffer with loose plinth, the front divided with mouldings in the typical manner, painted with circular ornament and stylised flowers, dated on the plinth 1751?, with lateral iron handles, lock, key and interior compartment, the inside of the lid grained and decorated with the monogram IHS and the date. Ca. 89.5 x 171 x 79.5 cm. Damaged, with a crack on the lid, with a part missing. (MIN)
