Archduke Rudolf (1788-1831), 1819 Prince Archbishop of Olmütz, 1820 Cardinal; youngest son of Emperor Leopold II, pupil 1803/04 and important patron of Ludwig van Beethoven who dedicated to him numerous compositions and the Missa Solemnis for his installation as Bishop of Olmütz.
