The 1970 model was the first time that Porsche enlarged the engine of its 911 series. Having a bore of 84 mm, the displacement increased to 2.2 liters, and, accordingly, the overall performance throughout the entire model range. With the T, which now kicked up 125 hp, the carburetor continued to be responsible for mixture preparation. Overall, many details in terms of features and specifications were further developed and matured in the 911 series.

This 911 T was delivered to Bologna in March 1970. The first owner chose the color light ivory and a black leatherette interior for his coupe made by Karmann. One restoration and 46 years later and the 911 still flawlessly meets its delivery specifications and is now located in South Tyrol. The original license plate number and the old libretto complete the picture, and the golden ASI plaque is a clear sign that it’s by Italian by nature! The Porsche was restored the about seven years ago from the Porsche specialists Bottini from Milan.

The work done on the car is documented with invoices and photos, and the high quality is easy to recognize in every aspect of the Porsche. Since then, the car has felt more than 8,000 kilometers of road beneath its wheels and drives, according to the consignor, "like a rocket". Just recently, it showed off its exhaust system to some of its more powerful peers during a drive through Tuscany. The new owner can expect a picturesque, early 911 with an excellent combination of features – in which everything is as it should be, and leaves no wish unfulfilled!
