Original elements from the mid-18th century which have been assembled at a later date. This piece is veneered in walnut, and decorated with marquetry panels. A trois corps, with a lower section of three large drawers; a fall-front writing surface enclosing four interior drawers; an upper section with ten drawers, one door with central locking and two interior drawers, as well as added gold painted elements atop. Ca. 190 x 116 x 76 cm. Some ageing and evidence of restoration, the screws for the mounts with non-matching replacements. (PZ)
