Mixed lot (5 items): Indian silver jewellery: A necklace, two belts, a bracelet and a chain with triangular amulet pendant - Arte Tribale

.1: An extraordinarily beautiful, heavy necklace made of the excellent silver. Assembled from quadrangular chain links decorated in relief. With round hook-and-eye closure. L: 44 cm (in total); weight: 250 g.
2: A quality silver belt made of three rows of fine chain links held together by means of smaller silver rings. Fastening in the form of openwork roses, with a buckle. L: 73 cm (in total); weight: 150 g.
3: A belt made of two bands of tightly plaited silver wire held together by means of rosette-shaped silver clasps. With cast silver fastening, decorated with beautiful floral volutes. Fastening with screw top (n.b.: ‘inverted’ English threads). L: 75 cm (in total).
4: A silver bracelet, stylistically belonging to belt no. 3. Made of two bands of plaited silver wire, connected by means of two silver rosette-shaped clasps. Hinge and buckle are cast in silver in the same style as the belt, and decorated with floral volutes. Fastening with screw top (n.b.: ‘inverted’ English threads). DM: c. 6 cm.
5: A triangular amulet pendant made of silver alloy, with embossed décor on the front side: a triangular field with plants and floral tendrils, surrounded by zigzag and straight lines. The lower edge is adorned with ten eyelets with rhomboid pendants on S-shaped hooks. With chain. H: 12 cm (with pendant), W: 11 cm (lower edge).
All five objects are old and have been worn. First third of the 20th century. (ME)
