A stone axe with an exceptionally beautiful, large, pale green and perfectly cut stone blade. The horizontal blade displays knee-shaft hafting, with a strong, tight wrap made of yellow-brown rattan. Excellent condition, with hardly any damage (a crack on the handle) and good usage patina. First half of the 20th century; L: 57 cm (handle), W: 40 cm (blade and wrap in the upper section). (ME)
