French salon chest of drawers,
Louis XVI period, circa 1770/80. Made in oak with tulipwood and rosewood veneer, decorated with marquetry panels in various fine woods, with five drawers, a shaped marble top and gilt bronze mounts. With a stamp on the back right support J. B. WASSOU (maître from 1766). 85.5 x 129 x 58 cm. In restored condition, some veneer parts replaced on the side area. (MIN)
