Baroque hall cupboard,


South German, probably Augsburg or Nuremberg, end of the 17th century. Made in various hardwoods and softwoods such as oak, elm, maple, ash and spruce, partly veneered, partly solid. The cupboard has an architectural style front with columns at the angles, architraves, angel-head applications, two doors and two drawers. 225 x 185 x 69 cm. In cared-for condition with minor ageing and evidence of restoration, some parts replaced. (PZ)
