Originally last quarter of the 18th century. An oak desk, partly with mahogany veneer, a polished finish, canted fluted angles, 2 doors, 1 drawer and fall-front writing surface, interior compartments, later bronze mounts and a moulded marble top. The piece is inscribed "Riesener". 143.5 x 98 x 42 cm. Some minor ageing and wear, with small cracks. (MIN)
